Jill Ellen Dermer

Jill Ellen Dermer, 73, of San Antonio, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Jill was born in Toledo, Ohio, to Doris and Elroy Streit. She was a 1968 graduate of Rossford High School, Rossford Ohio. She went on to earn an Interior design degree from Davis Business College and even earned an RN degree from Central Ohio Technical College at the age of 42. She worked in the healthcare/nursing field for over 40 years touching the lives of those she cared for. She especially enjoyed making beautiful quilts and sewing for her friends and family. She loved all animals including her fur babies, Rufus, Ruby and Ralphie. She also was an avid RV'r. She and her husband traveled most of the country in their RV.
Jill was preceded in death by her sister Karen (Steve) Davis and her parents, Doris & Elroy Streit.
She is survived by the love of her life her husband, Mike; children, Kimmie (Brett) Yates, Andy (Jamie) Dermer; grandchildren, Xavier (Rachael) Yates, Bowie Dermer; and siblings, her twin brother Jack (Evie) Streit, Susie (Shel) Sanger; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In accordance with Jill's wishes, there will be no calling hours or formal burial.
Memorial donations may be made to any local animal shelter in her name.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the nurses of the CVT ICU and the Adult ICU at North Central Baptist for the amazing care that she received there.
