Many summers ago Karin and I were walking buddies. As I got to know her during this short but meaningful space in time, I was amazed at how one person could embody so many fine qualities. It wasn't because she listed her accomplishments, talents or abilities that I noticed them. I became aware of these things just by being around her, at her home, in mutual social circles and strolling in nature in deep conversations. May God console all who love Karin, one day at a time.
