Survivors include wife, Joleen; daughters Abbie (Brenna) Lust-Smith and grandson, Hollis, of Newton and Claire (Reed Lechner) of Des Moines; sister Wendy (Mike) Cunico of North Augusta, South Carolina; nieces and a nephew.
