Linda J. Burns (Zabinske) age 71 passed away May 8, 2024. She was born July 15, 1952, to Louis and Glenora (Hager) Zabinske in Appleton, WI. She graduated from Xavier High School in Appleton in 1970, then went on to U.W. Oshkosh where she earned a bachelor’s degree.
Linda began her working career at Mary's Place in Appleton then went to live in Maryland where she worked as a librarian for the government. While in Maryland she met and married Mark Burns. They were together for several years before going their own ways. Linda then moved back to Appleton to make her home at Brewster Village.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, three nieces and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jim and Ervin Zabinske
Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to thank Brewster Village for their kindness and love they had for Linda. In addition, our thanks to the doctors and nurses who cared for her. We would also like to thank her guardian.
