Mabel Henson Obituary

Mabel was a dedicated member of the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Puxico, MO for over 70 years. Her faith was of the utmost importance to her and was the center of her world. She also found great joy in working in her flower garden.
On December 3, 1953, she married Ray Eugene Henson. He survives. Also surviving are two children: Dennis (Elizabeth) Henson of Puxico, MO, and Mareva Bishop of Metairie, LA; seven grandchildren: Bethany (Adam) Ladd, Kimberly (Ben) Henson, Landon, Garrett, and Lexie Henson, Amanda Bishop, and Brent (Candy) Bishop; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mabel was also preceded in death by two sisters: Naomi Adams and Mary Lack.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Puxico with Rev. Brad Helm officiating. Burial will be at Puxico Cemetery.
