Maggie Caulder, 88, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Born, July 20, 1934, in Cheraw, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Allen and Sara Ann Boatwright Turner. Maggie was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Cheraw, SC and worked for Chesterfield Webbing for over 30 years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, fishing and crossword puzzles, as well as going to flea markets and watching Walker Texas Ranger. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Along with her parents, listed above, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Caulder; a son, Tony Lockey; three brothers; and five sisters.
Maggie leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son, Bobby Hildreth of Chesterfield, SC; daughters, Sue Freeman (Jerry) of Chesterfield, SC, Alice Hildreth of Chesterfield, SC, and Trisha Quick (Chris Jones) of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Wendy Bryson (Shannon), Brittany Barber, and Taylor Quick (Jerald Polson); great-grandchildren, Carrie Privette Buchanan, Forrest Privette, Shannon Bryson, Nathan Quick, Dallas Barber, and Caroline Polson; and a great-great grandchild, Hugh Buchanan.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Midway Baptist Church in Cheraw, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. just prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Caulder family in their time of grief.
