She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Vernon Edward and Barbara Gallagher Masters; sister, Carolyn Masters Veeneman; and brother, Michael Masters.
Martha enjoyed golf, tennis, swimming, and boating, and loved living on the river.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara Shirley (John); nephews, Alex Clark and Collin Masters; niece, Carolyn Masters; brother-in-law, Hayes Veeneman; and sister-in-law, Margaret Sue Masters.
There will be a private interment at Cave Hill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus.

My deepest condolences to you Barbara. Your mother was a very special lady who will be deeply missed. It was an honor to care for her, and it was even more of an honor to call her my friend. I grew to love her in the short amount of time that we knew each other, and I will always carry that in my heart.
