He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Sanders (Johnson); children, Brandon (Kathi) Sanders of Janesville, WI, Bobbie (Amy) Cambridge of Rockford, IL, Mike (Lisa) Cambridge of Machesney Park, IL and Natasha (Clay) Coplan of Machesney Park; grandchildren, Tyler Cambridge, Zoey Cambridge and Alissa, Gloria, Nylah & Gibson Coplan; mother, Virginia Sanders; siblings, Bruce (Cindy) Sanders of Machesney Park, IL, Cheryl Vesta of Machesney Park, IL, Scott Sanders of Machesney Park, IL and Gerald Sanders of Rockford, IL. He is predeceased by his father, Marvin Ellsworth Sanders Sr.; daughter, Kimberly Sanders; and nephews, Nathan & Bruce Sanders.
Celebration of Life Memorial held Sunday November 13, 2022 from 12pm -4pm at the Venetian Club, 2180 Elmwood Rd, Rockford, IL 61103. Cremation rites accorded. Christenson Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Memorials to the family.

Cheryl, Scott and Virginia, Our deepest Sympathies to the family. Marvin was a good friend and will be missed by many. I will miss his smile at our weekly Tuesday Class of 74 gatherings. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
