She is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Steve Richard Ottens; father, Don (Cheryl) Sowl; siblings, Leroy Sowl (Cindy Martindale) and Louise (Roger) Collins; sister-in-law, Rhonda Sowl; numerous nieces & nephews; and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her mother, Carolyn (Arlond) Stroud; brother, Donald A. Sowl III; and nephews, Michael A. Sowl and Nick Sowl.
Funeral Services held Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Avenue, Rockford with visitation from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Cremation rites accorded. Memorials to the family.
