Melissa Lyn Hogue

Melissa Lyn Hogue, 49, passed away on November 6, 2022. She was born on February 1, 1973, to Delmer Hogue and Linda Lou (Tucker) Hogue in Evansville, Indiana.
Melissa was a graduate of North High School, class of 1990. She attended Ivy Tech Community College with a focus on Computer Graphics; she then went on to graduate from University of Southern Indiana with a degree in Radio Television. She was a Navy brat, and very proud of it. Melissa loved her nieces; they made the sweetest memories together. She was a people person and was well liked by all. Melissa had a special love for her cat, Taz, they were best friends. She was a skilled gamer, she enjoyed playing Fortnite and Dungeon & Dragons. Her sweet spirit and kind heart will be missed by all.
Melissa is survived by her father Delmer Hogue; brother Christopher (Kimberly) Hogue, and nieces Lillian, Annalynn, and Violet; aunts Ruth Marie Bryant, Mary Elizabeth Stevens, and Susan Francis Siefert; and numerous extended family and friends. Melissa was preceded in death by her mother Linda Lou Hogue, grandmother Jean Yates, and aunt Sheila Fisher.
Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 1pm on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
