Michael A. Marlow Jr.

Michael A. Marlow, Jr. passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024 in his home with his most loyal companion, Ziggy, by his side.
Michael, lovingly referred to by many as "Papap," was born on October 27, 1941 in Palmerton, PA to the late Belva M. (Wanamaker) and Michael A. Marlow, Sr. He was the glue that held his family together and enjoyed quality time with his family most. He found the simple things in life most fulfilling such as time in nature, especially birdwatching in his backyard. He enjoyed a good home cooked meal, a big bowl of ice cream, and classical music. He was proud of his country and served 24 years in the US Navy to which he retired as Chief Petty Officer. He finished off his career with another 20 years in civil service.
He is survived by his children, Eric Marlow and his wife Amy, Nathalie Leatherwood, Stefanie Morgan; grandchildren, Tanya and her husband Eric, Tiffany, Dylan, Tarra, Brooke, Teah, Colby, Alex; great grandchildren, Parker, Corey, Dani, Stiles; brother, Jimmy; sisters, Helen and Frances.
The family will receive friends at the home of Michael for a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life from 4pm till 7pm on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
