Nancy B. Peak, age 68, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Born Thursday, May 5, 1955, in Greenville, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Aurbery Wesley Alford and Bessie B Leeper. She leaves behind her husband Doug Peak of Danville. Nancy was an RN at Ephraim McDowell Hospital. She loved animals, going fishing, and was a big Disney fan. Nancy was fun loving, a hard worker, she loved Christmas. She loved her family dearly but loved her animals more.
In addition to her husband, Nancy leaves behind two sons, Matthew Brockman of Danville, and Charlie Peak (Stephanie) of Lexington, Kentucky; three daughters, Julie Campbell-Adkins (Jacob) of Parkers Lake (McCreary County), Kentucky, Anita Humphries (Steven) of Danville, and Samantha Cross of Paris, Kentucky. 11 grandchildren, Cheyenne Wheeler (Michael Stamper), Jonathan Eads, James Humphries, Kimberly Humphries, Marcus Humphries, Jaymason Humphries, Whitney Peak, Makayla Peak, Justin Peak, Dillon Cross, and Katelyn Cross; four great grandchildren, Lee-Ann Peak, Aria Jackson, Nova Jackson, and Zayden Jackson.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by one grandson.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-12:45PM Monday, December 4, 2023, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Nightingale Tribute will begin at 12:45PM Monday, at the funeral home.
The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Monday, at the funeral home. Bro. JR Woodrum will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Nancy's obituary page of the funeral home's website.
Burial will follow in McKinney Cemetery. Steven Humphries, Jacob Adkins, Michael Stamper, Jaymason Humphries, Jonathan Eads, Mike Long, and Chris Roberts will be Active Pallbearers.
