NATHAN JAMES HILL, age 44, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at STRHS Winchester. Mr. Hill was born in Winchester, Tenn., on October 14, 1978, to Charles Hill and the late Anita Benson Miller. Mr. Hill attended the Estill Springs Nazarene Church. He was a 1996 graduate of Franklin County High School. He then attended TN College of Applied Technology in Shelbyville specializing in Electricity and Electronics. He was employed with AT&T for over 20 years as a Digital Technician. Mr. Hill loved spending time on the lake boating and skiing. He also enjoyed woodworking. He had recently taken up playing the guitar and had his first lesson last week and learned to play "happy birthday for his own birthday, Friday. He was always fond of living in the pine bluff community where he and his family made their home. Most of all he loved spending time there with his family and friends and will be remembered for his fun loving ways.
In addition to his mother, Anita Benson Miller, he was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents; Parker and Cynthia Benson, Paternal Grandfather, Hayden Hill, Step-father, Mike Miller and Uncle, Bart Benson.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Hill of Winchester, Children; Shelby Hill and Parker Hill both of Winchester, Sister, Ellie Benoit of Chattanooga, Father, Charles Hill and wife, Regina of Estill Springs, Tenn. Mother and Father-in-law, Terrie and Husband, Terry Parrish of Winchester, Father and Mother-in-law, Kenneth and wife, Renee Lovett of Columbia, Paternal Grandmother, Beatrice Hill of Estill Springs, Grandmother-in-law Mary and Beth Martin of Estill Springs, Brother-in-laws; Ken Lovett and wife, Hannah of Columbia and Adam Erwin and wife, Jeannie also of Columbia. Sister-in-law, Carmen Stubblefield and husband, John of Crossville, Aunt, Teresa Sims of Manchester, Uncle, Barry Benson of Winchester, Cousin Brandy Crosslin and husband, Ronnie of Manchester, and cousin Jaxon Boyd. An abundance of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Services will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Pastor Tim Parson, officiating. Visitation for Mr. Hill will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening, October 19, prior to the service in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Estill Springs Nazarene Church Building Fund at 105 Flower Lane Drive, Estill Springs, TN 37330 or estillnaz.org.
