Pamela Sue Starbuck Patrick, age 72, passed away June 12th, 2022, at her home in Broomfield, Colorado. She was born on February 9, 1950, in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Paul and Frances (Bendon) Starbuck. She married Ian Patrick on September 1, 2000, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Pam graduated from Great Bend High School in 1968 and Kansas State University in 1972. She retired from The University of Colorado at Boulder as a Property Accountant. Pam was a lover of many things: her family and friends, animals, architecture, travel, and genealogy to name a few. She was an avid supporter of our military veterans having been influenced by the service of many family members, especially her father.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-daughters Sterling Creager and Tracy Patrick, and brother-in-law Colin Patrick. Survivors include her husband, Ian Patrick, loving pet companion, Rigby, brother Mike (Rhonda) Starbuck of Oologah, Oklahoma, nephew Andy (Trish) Starbuck of Colby, Kansas, niece Audrey (Craig) Dye of Oologah, Oklahoma, nephew Michael Patrick of Reno, Nevada, and niece Kelley Odriozola of LaVerne, California; great-nephews and nieces Drew and Anna Starbuck, Colby, Kansas, and Elliott, Darcy and Quinnlyn Dye, Oologah, Oklahoma, as well as numerous dear friends and family.
Celebration of life and graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Great Bend Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Golden Belt Humane Society or the Great Bend American Legion Post #180, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
