Funeral services for Rebecca "Becky" Sue Sanson Ellard, 65, of Jonesville, LA will be held at Aimwell Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 2PM with Bro. Bobby McGuire and Bro. Domonick DiCarlo officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Deville, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home - Jonesville.
Becky was born on Saturday, November 8, 1958 in Baton Rouge, LA to Merl Marvin Sanson and Versie Pauline White Sanson and passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by loved ones. As the epitome of the best wife a man could ask for, she dedicated her life to creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. Family was at the center of Becky's world, and her nurturing spirit and boundless generosity made her a beacon of strength. Becky's legacy as a fantastic wife, mother, and grandmother will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were blessed to call her family. She will be dearly missed but remembered with love and gratitude.
She is reunited with her parents and sister, Kathy Renee Sanson.
Becky leaves behind the love of her life, Charles Curtis Ellard, Sr. of Jonesville, LA; daughter, Tauny Anjanette Elliott & her husband Jamie of Aimwell, LA; son, Charles Curtis Ellard, Jr. & his wife Tracy of Trout, LA; daughter, Jeana Pauline Wiley of Jena, LA; sister, Charlene Nichols of Livingston, LA; grandchildren, Lora Elliott, Rachael Elliott, Jessie Elliott, Andrew Elliott, Wilven Wiley, Wesley Wiley, and Waylon Wiley; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Those honoring Becky as pallbearers are Wilven Wiley, Wesley Wiley, Waylon Wiley, Andrew Ellard, Clint Nichols, and Jamie Elliott.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Tolbert and Jake Nichols.
The family will receive friends at Aimwell Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 1PM until service time at 2PM.
