Sandra Kaye Tisdale Maturo Obituary

Sandra was born on Thursday, April 12, 1956 in Natchez, MS and passed away Friday, October 17, 2025 in Collinston, LA. She lived a full and faithful life, guided by love, strength, and determination. Sandra's determination shined through in her schooling, graduating with honors from Ferriday High School. A devoted member of Hill Memorial Church, Sandra carried her faith proudly and shared it through her kindness and wisdom. She served her country honorably in the U.S. Air Force and later continued her service through a successful civil career at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sandra also thrived as a real estate agent, helping others build their dreams. She enjoyed knitting and quilting, creating beauty with her hands and heart. Known for her favorite saying, "Suck it up, buttercup," Sandra was both sweet and opinionated, a woman of strong spirit and gentle soul. She loved God, her family, and her country deeply and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is reunited with her father, Charles Tisdale.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Steve Hines of Collinston, LA, mother, Annie Merle Tisdale of Ferriday, LA, brother, Danny Tisdale (Sharon) of Monterey, LA, sister, Wanda Adams of Ferriday, LA, sister, Christy Mitchell (Trevor) of Sicily Island, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family asks that donations be made to Shriners Hospital and that if flowers are sent, that they be silk instead of live.
