Robert W. Spaulding

Robert W. Spaulding, born May 2, 1922 died at age 100 on 3/13/2023. Predeceased by parents Claude & Anna Spaulding, wives Jean of 44 years, and Jeanne (Wager) of 36 years and daughter Jacquelyn Guth. Bob is survived by children Jean Schult, Carl (Marsha) Guth, Carol (Dick) Makowiecki, Robert H. (Donna) Spaulding, Wayne Spaulding, and stepchildren: Karen (Steven) Hood, and Kathleen Lenzo, plus many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Bob worked as a tool and die maker and retired from Rochester Products Div. of General Motors. He was a devoted member in the Lakeshore Fire Dept. and served as past chief of Lakeview Fire Department. He was instrumental in the construction of the Lakeview Firehouse. He was a member of Ogden Presbyterian and in recent years, Third Presbyterian Church. He belonged to the Masonic Temple, Rochester Branch. Bob's many hobbies include breeding and showing cocker-spaniels, enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and antique collecting.
Friends may call Thursday March 16th, 1-2pm concluding with a memorial service at 2pm at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services, 777 Long Pond Road Rochester, NY.
