Tanya Lynn Norris

Tanya Lynn Norris (Sutlic), 51 of McKean, died of natural causes after her brave battle with necrotizing myopathy on Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 12, 1970, the daughter of Jim and Karen Bechtold.
Tanya graduated from General McLane High School in 1988. She embodied the definition of a businesswoman, a woman who walked into every room with the confidence and grace it took to be a great leader. She worked in many roles for McDonald's over the span of 15+ years, most notably her time as a regional store manager. During this time, Tanya took the initiative to further develop her business skill set by taking courses through McDonald's University, the training facility at McDonald's global headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. She was also the branch manager for Securitas Security, and for the last 7 years, she was the exceptional business manager of Massage Envy.
Tanya was a devoted woman in every aspect of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend whose strength and wisdom left an impact on everyone who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and her dogs, a good shopping trip, traveling, gaming, and her work.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Bechtold.
She is survived by Kenneth Michael Norris Jr., her loving husband of 22 wonderful years; their 3 children, James Michael Norris and his wife Anisah, Kenneth "Goo" Michael Norris III, and Rowan Marie Norris; nephew, Paul Sutlic and his wife, Angela; best friend and partner in crime, B.J. Waide; mother, Karen Bechtold; sister, Tamara Sutlic; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 8880 Main St., McKean, PA 16426, followed by a private burial.
