59, of Washington Township, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 29, 2023.
He was born March 12, 1964, the son of the late Edward and Marian (Hackett) Mattson.
Timothy was an IT Engineer for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn for 33 years before retiring in August of 2022. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by the mother of his children and former wife of 33 years, Coleen; three sons, Corey (Paige), Shawn and Aaron Mattson; two grandchildren, Linda Rose and Wesley Jayce Mattson; siblings, Mary Kalinski, Lori (Ray) Miller, Jim (Cheryl) Mattson and Kevin Mattson as well as many other family and friends.
Timothy is preceded in death by a brother, Dave Mattson.
A celebration of life for Timothy will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac.
Memorials are suggested to "Wishes of the Family".

Tim was an awesome cousin. By far, his humor leaves me with so many memories. Loved the time I spent with him. Just a great person and always made my day better when with him. Simply, just a great person. Will miss him.
