Obituary
Guest Book
In loving memory of Vicente (Vince) M. Jimenez who passed away on January 10, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father of 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 10:00 a.m., at St Joseph Catholic Church at 87 Lacy St, NW, Marietta, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund would have been pleasing to Vince.
Vince’s life was the quintessential American dream. At the age of 26, he moved from the Philippines to the United States with his loving wife, Lydia and two small children to pursue a storied career as an aeronautical engineer. Along the way, 4 more children were born and his family of 8 lived in Seattle, New Orleans and the Atlanta area as he made his contribution to important aerospace and national defense programs. His example of hard work, integrity, patriotism, fair play and common decency set a high bar for all those close to him. He treasured his family and made it his life’s mission to provide for, protect, lead, teach and care for them.
