William Christopher "Billy" McGuire Jr.

William "Billy" C. McGuire Jr., 65, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at his brother's home in Louisville, Kentucky with his family around him. He was born on February 23, 1958, to the late William and Wanda McGuire Sr., in Louisville, Kentucky. Billy enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a loving father, Pops, and brother. He was a loyal member of the Ironworkers Local 70 for over 36 years, and worked on many projects around Louisville, including the Galleria Mall, Louisville Gardens, and the Marble Hill Nuclear Power Plant, just to name a few. Billy was very laid back and enjoyed spending days by the pool and cookouts with family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching both UK and U of L play, watching western movies, especially with John Wayne, reading Steven King books, enjoying a cold Budweiser, and watching Tom Brady play. Billy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, William and Wanda McGuire Sr., Billy is preceded in death by his nephew, Cole McGuire; and his loving Fur Baby, Hunter.
Left to cherish his memory, Billy leaves behind his loving daughter, Kristin Frazier (Kris); granddaughter, Reagen Caskey; brother, Charles McGuire (Jennifer); sister, Pam McGuire; nephew, Jimmy Williams (Trish); niece, Mindy Perez (Eddie); and a host of extended family and close friends.
A funeral service for Mr. William C. McGuire Jr., will be held at 12 pm on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Legacy Funeral Center, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 1 PM to 6 PM, and prior to the service from 11 AM to 12 PM, at the funeral home. Entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park will follow the service.
