William Parker Obituary

William was a Christian and a godly man. He enjoyed reading his Bible daily, which was given to him by an aunt. He carried his Bible with him wherever he went. He was employed for a number of years as a truck driver and then worked in various departments at Pilgrim's in Mount Pleasant, Texas for several years as well. He was a kind and gentle soul, loved the Lord, and talking to others and getting to know them. He never met a stranger! He will be greatly missed by all those who had the honor and privilege of knowing and loving him.
William is survived by his wife, Patricia (Azevedo) Parker and her daughter of Mount Pleasant, Texas; his mother, Linda Rodriguez, and numerous sisters. He is preceded in death by his father, Emanuel Parker.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.
Memorial donations to assist the family with funeral expenses may be made to Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home, either in person at 2805 South Jefferson Avenue or by mail at P. O. Box 1123, Mount Pleasant, Texas 75456.
