Yvonne "Mother Vonne" Jackson was born on February 26, 1955 to William Lyvers and the Late Mae Louise Jones in Lexington, Kentucky. Yvonne was Baptized and became a member of the House of Prayer of Versailles, Kentucky in 1980. She was truly a testament to a life of Christ, Strength and Faith. The Love, Affection, Passion and Care. She had for her family was unmatched. She was an amazing woman of God, wife, mother, grandmother, great -grandmother, daughter and friend.
Yvonne was born in Lexington, Kentucky where she worked in retail and UK Healthcare for many years. He greatest joy was sharing a kind word and saying a prayer for whomever needed it. She also loved to design and create her own dining room decor and other home and office decorations. She was loved and adored by many for her sassy and diva-styled personality, Classy disposition, her big heart, kind spirit and warm smile. She was a very humbled and submission woman of God who always held Jesus Christ to the most high.
Yvonne Lyvers married James Jackson on December 11, 1999 and was blessed with a Large and loving family. Yvonne leaves her father William Lyvers Jr.; Daughter, Dr. Myshamil {RAy} Walker, Daughter, Terrica Lyvers, son Rodriquez Lyvers, son Rico Lyvers and daughter, Stacy Lyvers; two brothers, Rodney Lyvers and Calvin (Bonnie) Lyvers; one sister, Tonya (Virgil) Robinson and a host of Nieces, Nephews, grandkins, great-grandkids and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Jackson, her mother, Mae Louise Wright, her brother Buford Lyvers Sr, and nephews, Keith and Tony Lyvers.
Services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023 at House of Prayer of Versailles. Visitation 11:00-1:00. Funeral 1:00 pm. Burial at Lexington Cemetery. Fender Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
