Nancy Genovese

Waterbury - Nancy Genovese, age 77, of Waterbury, also of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, died Sunday May 19,2013 at Waterbury Hospital. Nancy was born in New Haven on November 30,1935 daughter of the late Michele and Marziella (DeGregorio) Genovese. She was retired from the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch where she had worked as a court clerk for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. Nancy is survived by two sons, Gino Genovese and his wife Angelina (Gargiulo) of Wallingford and Rick Genovese of Wallingford, two brothers, Michael Genovese of Middlefield and Frank Genovese of New Haven, 4 grandchildren, Karissa Genovese of New York, N.Y., Samantha Genovese of Wallingford, Griffin Genovese of North Haven and Cooper Genovese of North Haven and several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Bernadette Church 385 Townsend Ave. New Haven . Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
