Mark C. Basile

Mark C. Basile, Sr., 63, of Egg Harbor Twp., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday January 12, 2019. Born in Elizabeth, NJ he was the son of the late Samuel R. Basile, Sr., and Mary C. (Lipari) Basile. Mark was a well known local musician who played in a local band as its base player. He was a huge lover of fishing of any kind, steam, lake, beach or deep sea fishing; he was passionate about it all. Mark was incredibly mechanically inclined and could fix anything. People will always recall Mark having a very warm soul who you could always depend on and willing to help anyone in need. Mark will be missed and fondly remembered by his sons; Mark C. (Angela) Basile, Jr., Luke Basile companion of Melissa Haines, Mark Woods companion of Amber DePalma, David Jones, daughters; Chrystal (Nuno) Alves, Beth (Joe) Toporowski, granddaughters; Kaylee woods, Lyla Toporowski, Brianna Alves, brothers; David Basile, Samuel (Alma) Basile, Jr., Ralph (Jiggy) Basile, Martin (Kimberly) Basile, sister; JoAnna (Desmond) Hamilton. Mark was predeceased by a brother Dominick Basile. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mark's Life Celebration Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 19, 2019 at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish Roman Catholic Church, 1421 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08225 at 10:00am.
