I met Tony when I was 13 delivering his Columbus Dispatch Newspaper. They dropped off my newspapers everyday at his building and I would fold my newspapers in the lobby of the building. I would see him going out somedays and he would always stop to talk. He'd say "Hey kid", how you doing? Sometimes he would be eating that red licorice and offer me one. He was one of the coolest and nicest person I ever knew. I always liked his Corvettes. He gave me a ride on his Hunter Green Stingray once. Made my day. He was always washing and waxing that car. I live in Texas now. I joined the Army when I was 18 and stayed in Texas after my discharge at Fort Hood after 9 years. I still visited Ohio from time to time and always thought about visiting him to see if he still lived at the same place. I just never got the chance. I'm sad to find out he has passed. Maybe we will catch up on the other side and swap stories one day. Rest in Peace friend.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of Tony. He sold me and my wife our first property in Columbus in 1978 while I was a student at OSU. Tony takes credit for getting me in the real estate business and reminded me of that everytime I saw him. He was full of life with personality plus! We always talked about fishing too.

Tony was a lively, energetic and generous man. He lived every minute to the fullest. The strength and positive attitude that he fought his heath battles with was inspirational. Tony loved to help young families get in to a new home and would often make generous gifts to see that it would happen. His bright smile and boisterous personality will be deeply missed by his RE/MAX family.
