I know of Coach Ferrell but didn´t know him while at CHS. I did know Mrs. Farrell, who was one of the nicest and most gifted teachers I studied with at CHS. Sending ongoing condolences to her and Coach Ferrell´s family. There are no words...Mark Evans Class of `77

Mrs. Ferrell and Family,
You and Coach were a great example to all of us who traveled through Conroe High. Your teaching ethics, your devotion to each other and family were an example to all of us, even if you weren't directly our teachers. I have treasured your friendship from a distance through the years and enjoyed seeing you both when our paths crossed. God's blessings on you and your family and may he fill your hearts with peace and abundance of wonderful memories to pass on to grandchildren and beyond.

Annette, Russell, and Lou, you have my deepest sympathies. I admire Mike for his work ethic, and more importantly, his devotion to his family. He was always so proud of each of you. It was my pleasure and honor to have worked with him for many years. Mama and I enjoyed watching him coach (sometimes Mama quietly disagreed with a play he called, but always supported him!) He will be missed!

It has been my privilege to know Mike and his family for more than 50 years and Annette’s family before I came to Conroe in 1965. So my thoughts and feelings now have developed over many years. I respected Mike for his love of family, his leadership, his work ethic and his dedication to the students he connected with on a daily basis. His friendship is appreciated and will always be cherished. My two sons were blessed to have Mike as there baseball coach. To Annette, Russell and Lou, I send my sincere deepest sympathy and many blessings. Mike will be missed by many and will live in our hearts forever.
