Cristy Waters Bayer Obituary
Tucson - The spirit of Cristy P Waters Bayer, 74, of Tucson, AZ was released on February 15, 2026 and is now traveling the universe after a prolonged illness.
Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Geraldine; her husband, Roderick and her brother Terry. She is survived by her sons Brian (Candace) and Benjamin (Lauren); brothers Thomas Waters (Patti) and Daniel Waters (Kelly): sisters Mellissa Jacobson, Molly Waters and Melanie Belter (Robert) with nieces and nephews so numerous it would take a whole page to mention.
Born at Castle Air Force Base, California she moved with her US Air Force family around the country before landing in Lancaster, California and graduating from Paraclete High School, class of '69. A great lover of books, she worked in local libraries wherever her life's journey took her. She was creative, teaching her younger sisters how to sew and provided homemade gifts to her family and friends. She had a life-long love affair with the Beatles and music of the 1960's. She was well known for her love of cheeseburgers, ice cream and cookies.
She was a sweet, kind hearted person with a touch of sass and a great sense of humor who loved and was loved by all who met her. Cristy would hope that you would do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone or something.
Cristy's family would like to thank all the caregivers at Starfish Care Home and Grace Hospice for their exceptional care. Services will be held at Joshua Memorial Park, April 23, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
