George Michael "Mike" Stuts

Stuts George Michael "Mike" Stuts, 69, of Cortland, IL, formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at his home after a struggle with cancer. He was born January 24, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio to George and Margaret (Shannon) Stuts. Mike was a graduate of Upper Arlington High School in Columbus and worked for the F.W. Woolworth Corporation for 30 years. He was an avid Ohio State University football fan and deeply devoted to his friends and family. Mike is survived by his wife of 45 years, Laura (Melvin); two children, Kristin (George) Santillan of Geneva, IL and George David Stuts of Philadelphia, PA; three grandchildren Meg, Kate and Jack Santillan of Geneva, IL; two brothers, Steven (Andrea) Stuts of Groveport, OH and Lawrence (Jackie) Stuts of Columbus; and many friends and family. He was preceded in death by both parents and his sister Molly Stuts.
