Marilyn Biehle Obituary

Marilyn S. Biehle,
a sixth generation Houstonian, passed away January 5, 2013 from injuries suffered in a tragic automobile accident leaving church on Christmas Eve. She was born August 20, 1936 to Nathan and Aileen Smith. As a baby, she won the silver cup at the Houston Better Baby Show. She graduated from Reagan High School and attended the University of Houston. Later in life, she proudly served as President of the Houston Aggie Mothers Club.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver F. Biehle, who loved Marilyn from the moment he first saw her in 1950. They married in 1957 and had a loving marriage for 55 years. She is survived by her children, Gregory and wife Monica, Janan and husband John, Gavin and wife Debra; her beloved grandchildren, Austin, Parker, and Antoinette; her sister Marijo and husband Joe; as well as many relatives and close friends.

We were saddened and concerned upon learning of your tragic accident on Christmas Eve. I spoke with Marilyn on New Year's Day to wish you both a Happy New Year and was shocked to learn of her leaving us just 2 days later. At times like these, our faith is truly tested and we must find comfort in knowing that she is home at last and free from wordly sufferings. Please express our sympathy to all the family. You have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Fred & Norma Coogan

Oliver & family:
Georgia & I wish our extreme sympathy to you at this time for your tragic loss of Marilyn. We only met her once, did not know her well at all, but know how you must feel due to the sudden loss of her. We wish we could attend the wake or funeral, but due to illness we cannot be present to share our sympathy. God Bless Marilyn, you and your family at this time.

It is with heavy heart that I recall the good times that we shared. You and Oliver certainly brightened our lives in so many ways. Janie (Mary Jane as you "knew" her) and I often recalled in conversaations with our friends the wonderful trip that we all made back to Pittsburgh for my 50-year high school class reunion. We had such a fun trip and especially remember you and Oliver singing so many beautiful religious songs while we were traveling homeward-bound. To say that we will miss you hardly describes how we feel. God bless you!

With deep regret did we learn of your loss. Although we know the inadequacies of mere words at a time like this, we would like you to know we feel both with you and for you. We know how dear Marilyn was to you and hope the pain will go away soon and you will be left with only the beautiful memories.
With love, Lea and Murray
