Michael W. McArdle, 62, passed away Wednesday July 21, 2021, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Bountiful, Utah, September 15, 1958, to Gerald W. McArdle and Barbara Hatch McArdle. Mike graduated from Bountiful High School in 1976. Shortly after graduation he attended school for pipe trades becoming a Journeyman Pipefitter. He was a proud member of Utah Local 140, where he later retired in 2018.
Mike married his soulmate Tammy C. Auer on September 22, 1979. Mike and Tammy’s love for one another was a bond that could never be broken. They showed us that no matter what obstacles life may throw at you, family and love are forever.
Mike enjoyed going to his family cabin in Pinedale, Wyoming. He truly loved the outdoors and could sit on the front porch of the cabin for hours. Mike has gone fishing on many rivers and was happiest when boating on Fremont Lake. He enjoyed long drives while taking in the scenery and viewing wildlife. Many that knew him have always said he was a kind soul.
He will deeply be missed and has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled. Michael is survived by his wife Tammy; daughters, Danielle (and Marcos) Ramirez, Jessica McArdle, Angela (and Jesse) Haynes; grandchildren, Ade’lynn Haynes, Cole Haynes, and Issaiah Ramirez; sister Susie (and Michael) Allred. He is preceded in death by parents Gerald W. and Barbara J. McArdle, and brother Kevin G. McArdle.
A viewing will be held to all who would like to visit on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful.
