Taz Anthony Browning, 38, passed away at home on October 6, 2025.
Taz was born in Bountiful, Utah, to Wendy Kay Lund and Milon Jonathan Browning. He has lived all his life in Davis County, Utah. He loved living in West Bountiful. Taz graduated from Bountiful High School.
Taz was blessed with an amazing son, Atreyu Taz Browning, on October 22, 2015. He was also honored to be the stepfather of Arya Summerhayes. He loved spending time with his children. He was proud to have been a stay-at-home dad. Atreyu and Arya were the light of his life.
Taz has two brothers, Zackery Martin Hamby, whom he loved dearly and was remarkably close to. Zackery passed away at 6 years old. Taz was only eight at the time. This tragic event affected him deeply, as they were “the best of buds.” He battled depression and anxiety for the rest of his life. Later, at 14 years old, he was blessed with another brother, Hunter Sabastian Vodopich, whom he also loved and admired. Regardless of their age difference, they, too, have always been “best bros.”
Taz and his brother, Hunter, loved to play Magic and other games together. Taz, along with his brother, Zackery, and his cousin, Ashley Lund, played T-Ball together as children. Taz and his brother Hunter, along with their cousins, TJ - Thomas George Lund V, (Lexi), and Jayden Lund (Izzy) loved spending time together and all acted like siblings.
Taz had a passion and an amazing talent for writing and art. He was a kind and gentle man who loved and honored his mother. They were incredibly close and often relied on each other.
He will be missed by all who know him. He is having a glorious reunion with his brother, father, and grandfather, whom he loved.
Taz is survived by his son, Atreyu Taz Browning; daughter, Arya Summerhayes; mother, Wendy Kay Lund; brother, Hunter Sabastian Vodopich; grandmother, Nita Lund, Chug - Thomas George Lund IV, (Tish) and Ashley Lund (Alexis), McKaylee Tolman (DJ), TJ - Thomas George Lund V (Lexi), Cody Lund (Taylor), Marissa Critchlow (Matt), McKenna Martinez (Caymon), and Jayden Lund (Izzy), Jason Rio—also, his beloved friends, and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Zackery Martin Hamby; his father, Milon Johnathon Browning; and his grandfather, Thomas George Lund.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Bountiful Cemetery, for family and close friends.
Interment will be next to his brother, Zackery Martin Hamby, and his grandfather, Thomas George Lund, in the Bountiful Cemetery.
