Paul was a good friend and member of the Leidy Microscopical Society. He gave much of his time to support Leidy ensuring its successful move from the Academy of Natural Sciences to its current Fairless Hill locale. Throughout his ordeal with declining health, Paul always managed to be positive seeing the bright side of things. He amassed a magnificent mineral collection that will be remembered by many as being the best public display in the entire area. I will miss Paul, a friend for many years, and I regret having to miss his memorial service tomorrow. His many friends in the mineral community will long remember him.
