Fred was such a great guy and good friend. Bill and I so enjoyed knowing him. He and Judy made a great pair and built a great family that filled their lives with joy. Fred will be greatly missed. May he Rest In Peace.

Mr. Kunz was one of my favorite teachers at Eisenhower. What a wonderful, fun Science teacher. Glad to have had him as a teacher and mentor.

In addition to being an excellent teacher and educator, you could always count on Fred for a smile and a keen sense of humor. We had great times and a lot of laughs. I attended many meetings with Fred and admired his quick thinking and sharp wit. He always had a comeback line which could one up an off key remark, or misleading fact, in the blink of an eye. I tried to keep up with him in that professional look, but had a real challenge there. He always looked like he just finished a GQ cover shoot. Fred and I taught at Wilson in the seventies. It was a real pleasure knowing him.

I worked with Fred for many years at Science Olympiad events or school district science committees. He was a kind man and so dedicated to teaching kids about science. It was an honor working with him. Sympathy to his family.

Very sorry to hear about Mr. Kunz. He was my teacher at Wilson. WOW! 47 years. I'm only on 38. Guess I should be abler to hang in there for a few more. Quite an inspiration! He'll be missed.
