I know that I can speak for everyone who has been a part of the WK Cardiac Rehab Program when I say that I feel Don's loss on a deeply personal level. Appropriately, one of the most salient features of WK's rehab staff and patients is a strong sense of humanity, unity, and purpose. Don's spirit will always be with us. He will always be an integral part of all of us learning how to be better people. Don was a warrior and a veteran of rehab. This means he could look a recumbent exercise bike in the face and say "You can't beat me. You will never beat me and I will keep breaking my own records." In closing, we're all still pedaling, and Don knows that we are all pedaling for him too. I offer my respect and condolences to his wonderful family.

I am very saddened to see of Don's passing, I have not seen Don in quite a long time. We were really good friends for many years in the early years of our careers. He was a good man and always impeccably dressed and enjoyed visiting and talking to people. I can only smile when i think of Don. Rest in Peace old friend.

Don was a client of mine. As a consulting Geologist, I came to know him as a man of principal, who always tried to be fair with everybody. He was a good friend.

Don was a very wonderful man, husband, father, friend and business man. I had the honor of drilling and completing his very first well when he began Sunland. I will never forget his excitement and how proud we both were. Rest in the Lords House my friend, you will be missed until we meet again.

I met Don in 1996 and have worked for him for the past 10 years. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He ran his business with the highest degree of integrity and, without exception, he treated all of his employees as family. Don was more than generous. His empathy and compassion towards others was unmatched. In December, 2008, I was working on a well in South Louisiana when I received a call that my sister-in-law was critically ill. We had a rare snowstorm where I was working and roads were icy and closed. Don immediately told me to shut the job down and offered to send a plane to get me back to Shreveport. That was a typical response from Don Easterwood. He was a great boss and friend.and I'm so blessed to have worked along side this kind and remarkable man. We will miss him terribly.

Sunday, January 15, 2017 was definitely a sad day in the Trust household. Don was the reason that Bobbie & I had our first date. Don was my first client & invoice #001 when I started my oil & gas consulting company. Don has been a great friend to both Bobbie & I over the years. He has checked on me constantly after my recent knee replacement surgery. He even called his PT guy to get me in with him. Bobbie & I have been blessed to have had Don as our friend. He will truly be missed.
