Guy Hetzel Obituary
York - Guy Charles Hetzel, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at WellSpan York Hospital.
Guy was born in York, the son of the late Charles F. and Maxine (Lehman) Hetzel. He was a graduate of William Penn High School and was employed as an auto detailer for more than 30 years. He was an avid collector of Lionel trains and enjoyed the old full size locomotives of earlier times.
The graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Greenmount Cemetery, 725 Carlisle Rd, York with the Rev. Paul Guiliano, Pastor of Paradise Holtzschwamm E.C.C. officiating. A funeral procession will form at 11:15 a.m. at the main entrance to the cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc, 902 Mount Rose Ave, York are entrusted with arrangements.
Mr. Hetzel is survived by his daughter, Mary Hetzel-Weaver, with whom he lived, and her husband, Dr. Christopher Weaver of York; sister, Louise McLane; and former wife, Constance (Wise), to whom he was married 55 years. He was preceded in death by his brother, David W. Hetzel.
