Candy amazed me at Stanford - a girl studying engineering? This was astonishing to this New England girl, her classmate. Condolences to all the family and know that she is remembered far and wide by those who may have known her only a little time. Sincerely, Anne Makepeace

I met Candy in 1st grade and we continued our education together through West High. Judging by Candy's brilliant career, she apparently absorbed more than I did. We shared fascinating conversations as we walked to school together after my family moved to 17th Avenue (3 houses down from the Anderson's) after the 5th grade. After high school we went our separate ways, but through fellow classmates & reunions I would hear of Candy's not surprising successes.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Candy's death. I want all of Candy's family to know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of the Hollar family. Our sincere sympathy.

My very deepest sympathy to you, Don and family, as you mourn the passing from this life of dear Candace. I had the privilege of working with Candy at SAIC and the pleasure of calling her Friend. May the memories of sharing her love, intelligence and wit keep you all close during this difficult time and in the years to come.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. May God's Word strengthen you during this difficult time. For he will deliver the poor one crying for help, also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. He will feel sorry for the lowly one and the poor one, And the souls of the poor ones he will save. Psalms 72:12, 13 Trisha Phoenix,AZ
