With Oak, Maxine was serving as an effective, articulate liaison between the veteran organization Oak was in and has led (the Second Air Division Association), and the 'second generation' affiliated organization that I have been involved in for several years... and we all feel the keen loss of a great friend, an energetic advocate, and a warm presence. For all in the "Heritage League of the Second Air Division," I would like to express to Oak and family our condolences. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolences to Maxine's family. She was such a vibrant, intelligent, interesting woman that she will always hold a place in the hearts of anyone who knew her.
