To the Carleo Family... Your dad was one in a million...
I also worked with Bob at Logan Airport for six years. He was the most talented utilities Engineer I've ever worked with. In an age where electronic drawings were new, and all the rage, Bob would pull out a set of paper as-built drawings and find things no one else knew were there. He advised me both professionally and personally. I will be forever grateful for his guidance when I was a young Engineer. Rest in peace Bob..

To sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, inlaws my sincere condolences. Bob was a friend and colleague of mine during the Big Dig. I first met Bob while working at Logan Airport, being that Logan was a former Air Force base no one quite knew where all the utilities where located, Bob approached this like a trained detective figuring out the maze of utilities that allowed the airport to function while we excavated large sections of the land to make way for the Ted Williams tunnel. We could not have done it without him.
Whenever Bob stopped by our field office it was great to see him, but at the same time he was so popular everyone stopped work to talk with him. I remember when we had a huge problem in South Boston with the flooding of the Immersed Tube Tunnels, the Resident Engineer called Bob to give him a lesson in Fluid Mechanics so we could create a plan to mitigate the problem, his lesson was priceless.
A great guy, a great friend and an Engineers Engineer, all of us who knew Bob are better off. I miss you, my friend.

I was very sad to hear of Mr C's passing. A wonderful man, always smiling and joking. I have fond memories of him all the way back to Newman House. He will be missed by many, no doubt. I did try to get to the visiting hours but I could no wait.
Prayers for all the Carleos.
Warm regards from all the Beaudets.
