Donna Lynn Holbert, 51, of Newburgh, IN passed away at 10:01 am, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center.
Donna was born October 6, 1965 in Ruston, Louisiana. She was a 1983 graduate of Lone Oak High School in Paducah, Kentucky and received her bachelor's degree in recreational therapy from Southern Illinois University. Donna was a member of Good Shepherd Assembly of God.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, John Holbert; daughters, Jessica Holbert and Caroline Holbert; son, Seth Holbert, all of Newburgh, IN; parents, Harold and Linda (Frith) McGriff of Paducah, KY; sister, Marcy Brown and husband Carl of Providence, KY; brother, David McGriff and wife Velvet of Olathe, KS; nieces and nephews, Austin McGriff, Ben and Callie Brown, Kristen and Destini McGriff.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Loyce and Clarice Frith, Harold and Virginia McGriff.
Funeral Services will be held at 5 pm, Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville with Pastor Jeff Keenan officiating.
Friends may visit from 2 pm until time of service at 5 pm, Sunday at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
Graveside Services will be held at 1 pm, Monday, April 24, 2017 in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Paducah, KY with Pastor Mike Williams officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Assembly of God, 4330 N Burkhardt Rd, Evansville, IN 47715.

Donna was such a sweet, caring and beautiful person, and I feel honored to have had her as a friend. We didn't know each other for long, but she had such a positive impact on the lives of me and my daughters in the short time that we knew her. To Donna's family, my family and I continue to pray for you all every day; may God bring you peace and comfort during this time and throughout your lives. Heaven gained a beautiful angel, and I know she'll always watch over you all.
