Thomas Monroe Marvel, 81, was born September 16, 1936 to Dorris and Allegra (Smith) Marvel of Cynthiana. He departed his temporary home for his eternal home on March 11, 2018.
Tom was a farmer, worked at Whirlpool and was a member of First Christian Church of Owensville, Indiana.
Tom is survived by his children, Lana (Bill Masterson) Marvel of Poseyville, IN and Gregory (Rebecca) Marvel of Connersville, IN ; grandchildren, Kurt (Elizabeth) Marvel of Fowler, MI, Barbara (Shawn) Tipton of Connersville, IN, John and Sarah Marvel both of Connersville, IN; great-grandchildren, Landon, Lily and Charlotte Marvel, Abby, Matthew, Grace and Gabby Tipton; brother, Doyle (Delores) Marvel; sisters, Ruth Bass, Evelyn (Rodger) Brittingham and Helen Cleveland; sister –in-laws, Marcilyn Marvel and Rebecca Marvel; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Wanda (Sprinkle) Marvel; his parents, brothers, Morris, Ewell and James Marvel, brother-in-law's, Kenneth Cleveland, Charles (Junior) Cleveland and James Bass.
A gathering will be from 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon Saturday, March 24, 2018 at First Christian Church of Owensville 4680 W. SR. 168, Owensville, Indiana, 47665. With a memorial service at 12:00 noon with Rev. Shawn Tipton and Rev. Bart Newton officiating.
