So sorry to hear about your loss. He was always friendly to me and my family. Always had a smile on his face when I saw him. Treated me very well when I worked for AT&T and put in his original phones and then moved them to the new location. Also the location in DeFuniak Springs. He trusted me with the keys. Lot of respect for him and his family. GOD SPEED SIR. HEAVEN has gained another ANGEL.

Blessings and Peace to the Entire Family. I had the honor of meeting Mr. Leon Daggs, Jr. at the swearing-in ceremony of one of Northwest Florida's kindest senators and again, at the Grand Opening of Crestview's newest Courthouse in Crestview--two distinct memories held dear. Mr. Daggs was always kind, polite, wise and will be remembered with a tearful smile for his quite humor! May his legacy live-on. (zor)

"Daggs" as he was called at Harris Teachers College, was one of the most outstanding African American students in our class. I have fond memories of sitting in the cafeteria talking with him for hours. He was truly my friend. To his family, you inherited one of the finest men on earth. You have my sincere condolences.

I do not have the words to explain my admiration, gratitude & respect for Mr Daggs. What he has taught and mentored to me is not calculable. The impact he made on me will never be forgotten. The responsibility he entrusted me with as a young man surprises me still to this day. He taught me the wise ways to handle often difficult and unexpected situations on a business and personal level in everyday life at an early age before I ever knew the value of his guidance. I have never met another man like him, And I´m sure I never will. I´m thankful for the time I spent under his watchful eyes as an employee and friend. He will be very much missed. I would like to express my sincere condolences to Chris and his family. My prayers are with you in this difficult time.

I would like to offer my condolences to the entire Daggs Family. Dr. Leon Daggs will always have a special place in my heart. When I was the president of Harris-Stowe State University, I gave him a Honorary Doctorate degree in 2017 for his outstanding leadership and service. This was the highest honor any person could receive from the university. Not to mention, he became a personal mentor to me. He will truly be missed.

Greetings Sandra and Christopher,
Alice and I are deeply saddened at the loss of the Patriarch of your family. We will continue to love you all and keep you in our prayers during this very difficult time.
As you know, Leon and I fished for decades together, and along with Tim Poe. I will never forget the good times we had, the laughs we had, the meals we´ve had, and all out of the pleasant interactions during his lifetime. If there´s anything that Alice and I can do to ease your burden please just let us now.
May God bless you and keep you in his arms,
