David Harley Shepard

1994 - 2021

David Harley Shepard, 27, of Schenectady, NY, passed away September 25, 2021. Born January 28, 1994, he was the son of Rebecca Gorton Shepard and Earnest Harley Shepard. David was a Schenectady High School graduate. During his school years, he participated in crew, bowling, and loved fishing. He was a hard worker and maintained constant employment from the time he graduated HS until his passing in auto body and construction, most recently as a countertop installer. All who encountered David knew him as a fun-loving, story-telling jokester who played as hard as he worked, always ready to help-out family, friends, and neighbors. He loved working on his Jeep and Harley Davidson motorcycle, motorsports, and hanging out with friends and family. He loved his family above all, and all of his young nieces and nephews loved him as well. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Gorton Shepard of Clifton Park, his father Earnest Harley Shepard of Esperance, his grandfather Robert G. Aronstein of Schenectady, grandfather, Robert Gorton Sr. of Cobleskill, niece and nephew Naiyeli and Kyris, God-Mother Dorothy Jouben; sister, Amanda Shepard, brother Dustin Shepard, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his grandparents Donna Aronstein, Robert Shepard, and brother, Harley Eli-Cody Shepard.
