Wanda Spence Obituary
Hebron-Wanda J. Spence, 78, of Hebron and formerly of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at her home. Born February 2, 1938 in Jay, Maine, she was the daughter of Marion J. and Thomas Joudrey. She was preceded by her first husband, Sheldon S. Davenport, I, and her second husband, Johnny H. Spence, Sr. Wanda is survived by three children, Juanita J. Chatham, Sheldon Scott Davenport, II, and Arthur (Artie) A. Davenport; four grandchildren, Nichole D. Cusick and husband Kyle, Rachel I. Chatham, Aaron L. Chatham and wife Kelsey, and Eric M. Chatham; six great-grandchildren, Adam, Tyler, Liam, Aubrie, Carter, Gabriel; two brothers, Alvin Laurie and Orrin Dale Joudrey; three stepsons; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and several other family and friends. She graduated from Jay High School in 1956. Wanda started working as a Dietary Aide at Salisbury Nursing Home and worked at several hotels in the Salisbury area. She attended Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11AM with visitation an hour prior at Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene, 27765 Nanticoke Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene. Online Condolences may be shared with the family at www.boundsfuneralhome.com.

Its difficult to believe that, once again, another has gone to meet her maker. Aunt Wanda's spunky attitude and determination, coupled by sticktoitiveness and love will stand out in my mind throughout my path here on earth. She would arrive at the farm as quick as the others and we would all receive a loving hug and kiss on the cheek. She was a piece of work and completely full of piss and vinegar in that pint size frame she was gifted. We will miss her.
