I worked for Dr. Thurman for many years and truly admired him as a physician and as a person. The thing I remember that stands out the most was his love for his family and his love for golf.
I was unable to attend his Celebration of life today, but heard that it was truly amazing and there was more laughter than tears, Ace sure would have wanted it that way. He will be truly missed!

I worked with Dr. Thurman 20 years ago. Not only was he a wonderful doctor, but also a great person. I was sad to hear of his passing knowing that he will continue to bring joy to the people around him. Although he will be greatly missed, the memories of him will last a lifetime.

I am so sad to learn of Dr. Thurman's passing. He was so much fun to work with at The Urology Clinic and was a wonderful and caring doctor. We were lucky to have him!

My heart is heavy with the loss of such a great man. I worked with him 10 years ago. I knew nothing about urology when I started. He took my under his wing and patiently taught me anything I needed know and more. He was fun and caring. I never saw him have a bad day. He gave me lots of advice about my move to Oklahoma. He was a treasure and will be missed.

Ace was a hero and role model to so many physicians in Fort Worth. He was incredibly caring and thoughtful. Whenever I meet a patient that had seen Ace in the past, their face lights up with joy when they speak of his great care and humor. He will be so incredibly missed as a friend, colleague, and example of a true gentleman physician.
I send my sincere condolences to his wonderful family including Eileen, Scott, Sally, and his entire extended family. We are grieving deeply with you.

I was Ace and Dan's first nurse in their practice in Fort Worth (1979). I'll never forget Ace's laugh, more of a giggle actually, his twinkle in his eyes and his big grin. He was such a kind and caring person and doctor. I'm so glad I got to work for him because he really made a lifelong impression on me. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends. He was truly a wonderful person.
