M. Christian Macdonald
May 5, 1979 - August 20, 2022
Fort Worth, Texas - M. Christian Macdonald of Fort Worth, TX was born in NYC on May 5, 1979, and departed us at the age of 43 in 2022. Raised between Austin, New York, Seattle, Memphis, and Fort Worth, he was a man of many passions and paths.
Christian was a friend to all, attending Arlington Heights and Crockett High Schools before college at LSU. He remained a lifelong fan of the Longhorns and Louisiana State Tigers.
We may shed tears that he is gone, but we must also smile because he has lived. Christian was one of a kind, those who met him recall his gregarious laughter & big bear hugs.
A jack of many trades, Christian had a rewarding career as a medical recruiter in Dallas-Fort Worth area before returning to his lifelong love of acting. Throughout his journey he found purpose in creating with others, starring in countless professional theatrical productions, he later joined the touring education troupe, the Morris Brothers. Here Christian united his love of service with comedic performance to motivate young minds, this brought him absolute joy.
Charming and clever, he was an avid music & movie buff, who could cite any film, learn anything, fix anything, he could be your stylist or auto mechanic. He was our sound engineer, the calm EMT, the silly babysitter, the best driver, the most loyal wrestling fan, your proudest lawn man, or a dedicated security guard for the evening. He was goofy yet privately solemn. Lively and outspoken, he had a love for all animals & felt deeply. You could find him quoting Shakespeare or reciting rap songs perfectly, sharing stories to the room, playing video games, picking on a guitar or piano, rooting for the team, and always knowing the words to all the musical and rock songs.
Christian cared profoundly for the world. He was compassionate, a dramatic soul who did amazing impressions and could talk you into anything. He was a trivia buff who loved a passionate debate, a classic who stood out in every photo with a genuine smile & bright blue eyes. He had an uncanny ability to bring laughter to a room and would often surprise you with his various unique talents, winning games and hearts with miraculous ease, Christian was a complicated mix of luck and tragedy.
Christian was loved and will be missed, always. His booming heart shall never be forgotten.
