Ann McCracken Obituary

McCRACKEN Ann McCracken, 79, of Tiffin, Oh., died 11:16 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2005. Born August 9, 1926 in Columbus, Oh., daughter of the late Ferdinand and Marie (Radcliffe) Zoppel. Homemaker. 1947 graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Social Administration. Member of First Community Church in Columbus. Member of P.E.O., very active in her church and community. Survived by husband, Richard McCracken, whom she married September 13, 1947 in Columbus, Oh.; son, Rick (Hydeh Ghaffari) McCracken of Oakland, Calif.; daughters, Susan (Tom) Bridge of Atlanta, Ga., Nancy (Ron) Ruffing of Tiffin, Oh. and Janet McCracken (Jeff Hayes) of State College, Pa.; grandchildren, Craig (Angela), Laura, Christina and Adam Bridge, Reika and Sheila McCracken, Katie, Emily and Megan Ruffing, Kyle, Casey and Joseph McCracken; great-grandchildren, Carter, Ellie and Meg Bridge. Preceded in death by brother Richard Zoppel and sister Nancy Zoppel. There will be no visitation. Memorial Service 3 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2005 at St. Francis Home Chapel, 182 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin, Oh. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care, 181 East Perry St., Tiffin, Oh. 44883. Ann was a great lady who had a gift to make everyone laugh and have fun. She will be missed by those of us who were lucky enough to have her at one time or another enter their life.
