Dale Elliot Pyle, age 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his home. He is survived by wife, Mary; several children and step-children; along with 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many great friends. Family will receive friends from 12-1 pm Friday, July 6, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a Memorial Service will follow at 1 pm. I always enjoyed talking with Dale, to me he was a "straight shooter" and would give good, sound, advice when asked racing questions, or requested help for tech issues with my race car. He helped me several times.
Met him in 1984 at Columbus Motor Speedway, at the end of his driving career, when his son Robbie took over his seat. Dale was a many times Champion at CMS in the Mini Stock/Super Compact class.
Sad to see he has left us, and have fond memories of 11 years in racing with him and his son.

I grew up with Dale on Sale Rd in Clinton Township where we both still reside. Dale was a neighbor and a friend.
Dale was part of a generation who understood loyalty and friendship as well as faith and trust in God. His love and knowledge for cars and racing was equal to none.
His courage and faith, as he battled his illness, was inspiring to all of us.
He will be missed by his many friends as well as those of us who looked forward to seeing him at the North Linden Reunion each year.
God speed Dale. Death is not the end just a new beginning.
