Our Heart goes out to "Everyone" in Danny's family. My wife Linda and all of her brothers and sisters have known Danny for "Most" of their lives. They Loved him dearly.

I met Danny many years ago,but didn't know him as well as the Stort's family.I heard many stories about him.( All Good Of Course )

It wasn't until mabe two years ago ( at Lake Erie )That I really had the pleasure of knowing this man and who ( he really is ).

I quickly learned His humor could turn an overcast day into "Sunshine" and his simple approach to "Life" a refreshing breath of "Optimism".

He was so easy-going and laid back. We all could learn a thing or two from him..and I know I did..."Life is Too short" so keep on "Smiling and Laughing"...No matter what each day may bring.

There was nothing he wouldn’t do

Danny was there for you

Especially when things got rough

Danny did that for all of us

You always knew you could count on him

To lift your spirits up again

Danny would find the good in things

Like the laughter his jokes would bring

The life he lived was an open book

Never giving a second look

Danny would let his feeling show

Danny would never tell you no

Family meant the world to him

He only wanted the best for them

He showed that in many ways

By being there every day

Danny was a man to trust

Danny is missed by all of us

We should think of all he’s done

Danny’s memory will live on

I have worked for Casto for 10 years and always enjoyed Danny! We talked about Nascar ALL the time, just two weeks ago he was very distraught about no driver since Rudd retired:) He was truley a joy to be around when he had to come to the office(274). He will be missed by me and very many others here at Casto. He used to call me Benji becasue the first time he thought he heard my name someone said "Benji" so he called me that for years!!! :) it was so funny. I will be taking him to Talladega with me in October thats for sure:)in spirit!!! He always told me to get to Bristol, the night race if I could. Danny I am still trying:) thats why I will think of you at every race from now on:)

I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell all of his family and firends what a wonderful person Danny was. I have worked with Danny at Casto for nearly 18 years and I can honestly say he was one of the nicest and most considerate people I have ever met. Just last week he was in our office helping people relocate to new offices and I heard his voice and I immediately got up to be sure to see him. He always had a smile and a kind word...he will truly be missed here at Casto. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Danny was just the best guy ever! We used to talk about NASCAR and I'll never forget a few years ago we were discussing the fact that I would be flying home from Florida during the Daytona 500. Imagine my surprise when I came into work on Monday and he showed up with a tape of the race for me. He was always thinking about others, always smiling and always a pleasure to be around. Danny, I'm really going to miss you. Thank you for touching my life. I'll never forget you.
