R.I.P. Papaw Dan... I was around 2 and 1/2 when you came into my life and accepted me as your own. I spent lots of days with you thank you for being there for me... It was great seeing you years later when I worked at Arbys and you came in for a meal. You will be missed.

I met Dan when I joined the Moose in 2000. I had a lot of good times over the years with Dan and his great family. Dan was a good man, a good Moose and a good friend, though he was not a good man to try to lift.
I'll miss you, Dan. I even had a great business idea for us and you never got to hear it. Guess you're off the hook on that one! See you on the other side, my friend.

I have known Dan since I was a kid. Dan actually coached me in baseball. I recently reconnected with Dan when my family joined the moose. You will be missed ,you were a good man. God bless.
